CalSensei Sweepstakes Official Rules

01 1. Eligibility

Any active sweepstakes run under these Rules is open only to natural persons who are at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the age of legal majority in their country or place of residence, whichever is greater) at the time of entry.

Entry is permitted only where such a promotion is lawful. A sweepstakes is void wherever prohibited, restricted, or otherwise regulated in a manner with which the Sponsor has not complied, and entrants are responsible for ensuring that their participation is lawful under the rules applicable to them. This promotion is international in nature and is not limited to any single country or region; however, residents of jurisdictions in which such promotions are prohibited or require registration, bonding, or other formalities that the Sponsor has not undertaken are not eligible to enter or win.

The following persons are not eligible to enter or win: the Sponsor; the Sponsor's employees, contractors, agents, and representatives; and the immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, and siblings) and household members of any of the foregoing.

02 2. Promotional Period

Each sweepstakes runs only during the promotional period that the Sponsor designates and publishes for that specific promotion. The Sponsor will fill in the exact start date and time and end date and time, including the applicable time zone, when it launches a sweepstakes.

Entries submitted before the published start or after the published end of the promotional period will not be eligible. The Sponsor's clock and records will be the official timekeeping device for the promotion. If no promotional period has been published, no sweepstakes is in progress and no entries are being accepted.

03 3. How to Enter

No purchase or payment of any kind is necessary to enter or win. The way to enter is the method the Sponsor designates and announces for each specific promotion, and may include any one or more of the following.

First, a participant may enter by completing a survey or feedback questionnaire made available within the CalSensei application during the promotional period. Second, a participant may enter by sending an email to support@calsensei.com during the promotional period, including the participant's name and a valid contact email address. Third, where a promotion is run on a social media platform (for example Instagram, Facebook, or X / Twitter), a participant may enter by performing the entry action described in the announcement post — such as following the official CalSensei account and liking, commenting on, tagging a friend under, or sharing that post — as specified by the Sponsor for that promotion.

Unless the Sponsor states otherwise for a given promotion, the limit is one (1) entry per person, regardless of the method used; if more than one entry is received from the same person, only the first valid entry counts. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, late, submitted outside the promotional period, generated by scripts, bots, or other automated means, or that violate the rules of the platform on which the promotion runs, are void. Standard data rates and the terms of any platform used may apply.

04 Social Media Promotions

Some promotions under these Rules may be run on third-party social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, or X (Twitter). The terms in this section apply to any such promotion, in addition to the rest of these Rules; they do not limit promotions run through other channels (for example, an in-app survey or email entry).

Each participant acknowledges and agrees that the promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, Meta Platforms, Inc., X Corp. (Twitter), or any other platform on which the promotion runs. Any questions, comments, or complaints about the promotion must be directed to the Sponsor at support@calsensei.com, and not to the platform.

By entering, each participant completely releases and holds harmless the relevant platform and its affiliates from any and all claims, liability, and damages arising out of or relating to the promotion or the participant's participation in it, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Participants must comply with the rules, terms, and policies of the platform on which the promotion runs. The Sponsor may disqualify any entry that violates a platform's rules, and the Sponsor is not responsible for any action a platform may take in connection with the promotion. The use of any platform's trademarks or branding does not imply any affiliation with or endorsement by that platform.

05 4. Drawing

After the promotional period closes, the Sponsor will select the winner or winners by random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The number of winners for any given sweepstakes will be as stated by the Sponsor for that promotion.

Each potential winner will be notified by email at the address associated with their entry. A potential winner may be required to respond within a reasonable time stated in the notification and to confirm their eligibility before the prize is awarded. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the stated time, declines the prize, or is found to be ineligible, the Sponsor may disqualify that entrant and select an alternate winner by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries, or may decline to award the prize, at its discretion.

06 5. Prize, Odds & Approximate Retail Value

The prize for each sweepstakes is a digital gift card, the type and face value of which the Sponsor will specify when it launches the promotion. The approximate retail value of the prize equals its stated face value. No cash alternative is offered, and the prize is non-transferable, except that the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if the advertised prize becomes unavailable.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the promotional period. Because a digital gift card is delivered electronically, no shipping is involved.

The winner is solely responsible for any and all taxes, levies, and similar charges that may apply to the receipt or use of the prize under the laws applicable to the winner, and for any reporting of the prize to the relevant authorities. The Sponsor may withhold or report amounts where required to do so by applicable law.

07 6. Disqualification

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual it finds or reasonably believes to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the promotion; to be acting in violation of these Rules; to be entering through fraudulent, automated, or otherwise unauthorized means; to be submitting false or misleading information; or to be acting in a disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person.

Any attempt to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of a sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and should such an attempt be made, the Sponsor reserves the right to seek remedies and damages to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. Disqualified entries will not be eligible to win, and a disqualified participant forfeits any right to a prize.

08 7. Limitation of Liability

Each sweepstakes and each prize are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Sponsor is not responsible for, and disclaims liability for, any of the following: late, lost, incomplete, misdirected, garbled, or undeliverable entries or notifications; technical, hardware, software, network, telephone, or other failures of any kind; lost or unavailable network connections; failed, incomplete, or delayed transmissions; or any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission relating to the promotion. The Sponsor's total liability in connection with any sweepstakes will not exceed the approximate retail value of the prize. Nothing in these Rules excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the laws of the Republic of Türkiye or other applicable mandatory law.

09 8. Release

By entering a sweepstakes, each participant releases and holds harmless the Sponsor, and the Sponsor's agents, contractors, and representatives, from and against any and all claims, demands, liabilities, losses, damages, costs, and expenses of any kind arising out of or in connection with participation in the promotion or the acceptance, possession, receipt, use, or misuse of any prize, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Where permitted by applicable law and unless prohibited, acceptance of a prize constitutes the winner's consent for the Sponsor to identify the winner by first name and, where relevant, country in any winner's list provided under Section 10, without further compensation. The Sponsor will not otherwise publish a winner's personal data except as described in these Rules and the CalSensei Privacy Policy.

10 9. Disputes & Governing Law

These Rules and any sweepstakes conducted under them, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights that an entrant may have under the law of their place of residence, the courts and enforcement offices of the Republic of Türkiye have jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Rules or any sweepstakes conducted under them. Each entrant agrees that any dispute will be resolved individually, and waives any right to have a dispute resolved on a class or representative basis, to the extent permitted by applicable law.

11 10. Winner's List

To request the first name (and, where applicable, country) of the winner or winners of a specific completed sweepstakes, send an email to support@calsensei.com identifying the promotion in question. Requests must be received within a reasonable period after the end of the relevant promotional period, and the Sponsor may decline requests that cannot reasonably be associated with a specific promotion.

The Sponsor will provide winner information consistent with these Rules and the CalSensei Privacy Policy, and will not disclose a winner's full personal data.

12 11. Privacy

Personal data that participants provide when entering a sweepstakes, including names, email addresses, and survey or feedback responses, is collected and processed by the Sponsor solely to administer the promotion, to contact and verify winners, to deliver prizes, and to comply with legal obligations.

All such processing is carried out in accordance with the CalSensei Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection law, including the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Participants have the rights described in the CalSensei Privacy Policy, including rights of access, correction, and erasure, which can be exercised by contacting support@calsensei.com. In the event of any conflict between this Section and the CalSensei Privacy Policy regarding how personal data is handled, the CalSensei Privacy Policy governs.

13 12. General / Incorporation of Terms

These Rules constitute the complete and exclusive statement of the terms applicable to any sweepstakes conducted under them and supersede any prior or contemporaneous statements regarding such a promotion. The CalSensei Terms of Service and the CalSensei Privacy Policy are incorporated into these Rules by reference; in the event of a conflict between these Rules and those documents with respect to the conduct of a sweepstakes, these Rules govern as to the specific mechanics of the promotion, while the Privacy Policy governs as to the handling of personal data.

The Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion and to the extent permitted by applicable law, to modify, suspend, or terminate any sweepstakes, or to amend these Rules, if fraud, technical failure, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the promotion. If any provision of these Rules is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. The Sponsor's failure to enforce any provision of these Rules does not constitute a waiver of that provision.

14 13. Sponsor

The sponsor of any sweepstakes conducted under these Rules is Gizem Acar, a sole proprietor (a natural person) established in the Republic of Türkiye, operating the CalSensei application and the website at https://calsensei.com.

Because the Sponsor is an individual based in Türkiye rather than a registered company with a conventional public mailing address, all notices, questions, entries by email, and winner's-list requests relating to a sweepstakes should be directed to the Sponsor by email at support@calsensei.com. This promotion is sponsored solely by the Sponsor and is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with any app store, device manufacturer, social network, or other third-party platform.
